MaaMaa & Nonna’s Kitchen is a heartwarming, immersive theatre experience that celebrates the bond between family, culture, and food. This interactive performance invites children aged 2 to 4, along with their families, into the vibrant kitchens of two grandmothers – MaaMaa (Chinese grandmother) and Nonna (Italian grandmother). Together, they embark on a culinary adventure that transcends language and borders.

In this delightful performance, the little cooks will put on their aprons, roll up their sleeves, and dive into the joyful process of making dough, to create mantao (Chinese steamed buns) and focaccia (Italian flatbread) from scratch – all under the guidance of MaaMaa and Nonna. This culminates in a shared feast where everyone can take pride in their culinary creations.

Dietary Notice: This workshop is not Celiac-friendly. Focaccia and mantou served during the event contain gluten.
